I began making art, in earnest, after the death of two very important people in my life within a two month period. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s sad yes but but one can look at silver linings. Focusing on my art gave me color, purpose, it organized the thoughts in my head. My work has been quiet diverse over the years, a reflection of my life and a prelude to many good things.

My twenty plus years as a graphic designer greatly influenced a sense of color, texture and overall balance or heirarchy of my work. This provided a starting point which was at the same time limiting and liberating. On the one hand it gives me a sense of what to put where but I’m still waiting to see what happens if I can dispell all of that.

Thank you rrjones for always for making it look better than it is.
